For those who a portion of their work requires Home Visiting or for Home Visiting Supervisors. This class does not require admission to the university.
Students will learn how to develop their identity as leaders of their own work in the home visiting field. Focused on the unique needs of Home Visitors, this course supports Home Visitors in developing practices and skills to address the emotional labor of their work. Students further explore how they are leaders in their own practice both in their agencies and with families. This leadership combines the development of skills, reflective practice and emotional well-being as the three pillars of self-leadership.
