Revised and Final Attempt

The feedback I received was to use the stroke to outline the letters which I did and also that the colors were bleeding and a bit hard to see.

I brightened up the colors by adjusting the hue and saturation for them and added the outline to make the words easier to read and see.

The only feedback I didn't implement was to align the letters. I double-checked this and they are aligned.

Background:

I wanted to use a quote from Batman and combine it with the Joker and have a little bit of color showing. I was inspired by images like this John Lennon photo.

Photoshop:

Changed photo to black and white

Used mask to cut the photo in half

Added black/gray gradient

Added text and cut through the mask to expose the color

Design:

I've added contrast by adding color.

Used right alignment for text, to create a straight line on the right side closest to the face while adding some space to the left.

I had each word on it's own line to have repetition and equal spacing between each.
