I have over two decades of experience in the IT asset disposition (ITAD) industry, working at every level of business, during this time I have had the opportunity to provide essential support to some of the world's largest hyperscale IT businesses. My passion lies in project execution with a strong focus on regulatory compliance and industry standards, whilst always aiming to exceed client expectations. I have managed teams completing complex data centre decommissioning projects globally, some with very restrictive timescales and work environments, requiring very creative problem solving along the way. These skills have afforded me opportunities to build ITAD facilities internationally in response to expanding client footprints.I have been an advocate for improved e-waste segregation for almost 20 years, since the UK implemented the WEEE directive in 2007. I have designed and built waste management and segregation processes to ensure maximum material recovery and fully compliant reporting.In addition to project and waste management, I also have a wealth of experience in auditing and process improvement, with the aim of efficient and lean processing whilst still maintaining maximum quality of service. I have previously sat on the ADISA advisory committee and recently contributed to the review of the ICT Asset Recovery Standard. I have also worked with the Environment Agency to develop enhanced guidance for the operation of mobile shredding facilities, which had previously been lacking in clarity.The key benefit of all of this experience is the ability to fully understand what clients actually need from an ITAD provider and offer unparalleled flexibility, rather than dealing with salespeople reading from a script, you’re talking to the people who have done all of the hard work before.Outside of work, I like to keep myself entertained by playing the guitar, I think I have a dozen at the time of writing this. I have played for over 30 years, which makes me sound far older than I think I am!I have 2 dogs and a family that I love going on long walks with, I take as many opportunities as possible to indulge in some photography, which I post on my LinkedIn profile from time to time.Sports are another passion of mine, particularly golf and football, I’ve been a Liverpool fan since I was a kid.
