Industrial Training Institute Jail Road under Directorate of Training & Technical Education, Govt. of NCT of Delhi has achieved remarkable success in various facets of training and employment generation over the last four decades.

Year on year increase in the intake capacity, healthy female enrolment ratio, infrastructural advancement, capacity building of instructors, and substantial increase in post training placement of trainees are some of our major achievements.

Besides these, ITI Jail Road has taken initiatives such as introduction of new practices in faculty development programs, involvement of industries and employers in skill training and employment through signing of MoUs, and providing industrial exposure to trainees in the form of On-the-Job Training with the help of associates and partners.

Training results have been remarkable with the overall passing rate over 95%. The institute has also achieved state level and All India Ranks in various trades in the last 10 years.

ITI Jail Road has a dedicated Placement Office which works throughout the year in organising soft skill trainings, on and off campus interviews for trainees, job fairs and Apprenticeship Melas to make the objective of training at the institute outcome based. It has further taken to the modern practices where online interviews through platforms like Skype are also encouraged.

‘Learning Should be a Joyful Experience’ is the driving force behind the institute’s training methodology and hence several extra-curricular activities like competitions, sports, cultural activities etc. are also organized in different trades as well as institute level.

The Institute in its bid to remain connected with its trainees even after they pass out is creating an Alumni Portal where alumni will be able to register themselves and remain updated with various activities happening in their institute. It is believed that alumni will take interest and further contribute towards the growth & development of their alma mater through this portal.

The Training and Placement Cell is committed to fulfilling the dreams of all those who trained from ITI Jail Road in various trades. Objective of the placement cell is to place trainees in good companies. This is achieved through campus drives conducted in the institute for which the trainees are trained in aptitude, technical and soft skills, much ahead of campus selections.
