Industrial Training Institute Jahangir Puri was established in the year 1985 with a vision to impart technical skills to the youth of vicinity area in various trades to make them Industry ready and employable.
Present seating capacity of the Institute is more than 850 trainees including Senior and Junior sections in 16 different “Engineering & Non-Engineering” trades.
Since the establishment of ITI Jahanjgir Puri, trainees have been trained with technical skills and working with various reputed organizations. Some have successfully established their own businesses and become successful entrepreneurs.
In its continuous endeavor Institute is improving its standard of Infrastructure and quality of training. Institute has signed MOUs with some reputed industries like “TATA Motors India Limited”, “TATA STRIVE and QUEST ALLIANCE” to impart up market skills to the trainees and simultaneously upgrade the workshops and Labs as per the market demand.
On 04th March 2022, a new chapter is being added in the history of the Institute by opening of New Block consisting of state of Art workshop of Plumber trade established with the collaboration of “Jaquar Foundation India Ltd.”, a workshop of Cosmetology Trade and a placement Cell. The construction of two stories New Block will help training of additional 150 students.
