The Campaign

Our total fundraising goal is $100,000. With over $60,000 raised as of January 2021, our Phase 1 fundraising goal has been met. We have been able to fund 100% of our elementary principals’ requests for top priority gear, and in-person learners have been using the ponchos, snow pants, splashy suits, boots, and waterproof mittens and gloves delivered to schools this winter. In total, we provided 2479 outdoor gear items to our schools. We are so grateful to our PTAs, Community Sponsors, and all of those individual donors who made this possible!

On March 16, the 1-year anniversary of the district's COVID-19 closure, we launched Phase 2. Raising an additional $40,000 will enable us to complete the project, and ensure that our schools have the gear they need to support the return of our virtual learners into our physical classrooms and outdoor learning spaces next year.

• $120 supports a pair of reading buddies to learn outdoors all year long

• $60 supports a child to learn outdoors all year long

• $25 helps keep kids dry on a rainy day
