WELCOME
Welcome to the official portfolio of the Inductive Road Charging System — a pioneering mini project designed to explore the future of sustainable transportation. This project demonstrates a small-scale prototype of wireless electric vehicle charging using electromagnetic induction, showcasing how clean technology can reshape mobility. Our mission is to advance innovative solutions that promote renewable energy, environmental responsibility, and smarter infrastructure for the next generation of electric vehicles.
We are a team of passionate and dedicated fourth-year students at AASTU, working on an innovative project titled “Inductive Road Charging System.” Our goal is to design and prototype a wireless charging solution for electric vehicles using electromagnetic induction technology. This system allows EVs to charge while stationary or in motion, reducing dependence on traditional plug-in chargers. By integrating clean energy concepts and efficient power transfer methods, our project promotes sustainable transportation and supports SDG 7 – Affordable and Clean Energy. Through this initiative, we aim to inspire innovation in renewable energy applications and contribute to a greener, more technologically advanced Ethiopia.
PROJECT GOAL
Our project contributes to the advancement of clean and affordable energy by demonstrating wireless power transfer technology for electric vehicles. Through inductive charging, we promote the use of renewable and sustainable energy sources, reducing dependence on fossil fuels and supporting global efforts toward a greener transportation ecosystem.
The Inductive Road Charging System embodies technological innovation by introducing a novel, contactless charging method that enhances EV infrastructure. This project encourages the adoption of smart mobility solutions and helps pave the way for modern, sustainable transport systems that align with the future of green infrastructure.
By enabling convenient, on-road charging, our project supports the creation of eco-friendly urban transport systems. The integration of inductive charging in road networks can significantly reduce pollution and improve energy efficiency, contributing to the development of cleaner, smarter, and more sustainable cities.
