This International and ESL Coffee House began in 2006.  In a non-formal setting, in a variety of learning spaces, such as a restaurant, a Learning Centre, and a library conference room, newcomers have learned English and learned about Canada from association with Community Volunteers.

Self-confidence has blossomed, and new language skills have developed, while International Newcomers and Learners have met with members of the Community. 

Lives new in Canada have begun with every promise of success perhaps increased by these rather delightful, very non-formal meeting spaces.
