A Neighbourhood Plan expresses a community's vision for development. Once made, it becomes a legal document to be considered when planning applications are reviewed. Itchingfield Parish has chosen to make a Plan so that it has a say in the growth of the Parish. This website shows how the Plan has been produced.

The draft Plan was submitted to Horsham District Council in April 2020 under Regulation 15 of The Neighbourhood Planning (General) Regulations 2012. From here, it will proceed through a further statutory consultation and inspection by an examiner, before being put to a Referendum where, if the vote is in favour, it is Made, and attains its full legal standing.
