Overview

Ítalo de Pontes Oliveira was born in Campina Grande, Brazil, in 1993. He received his Technology's degree in Telematics in 2013 at the Federal Institute of Education, Science and Technology of Paraíba (IFPB) and his Master Degree in Science Computer in 2016 at Federal University of Campina Grande (UFCG). Currently, he’s studying for his doctor's degree in Computer Science at UFCG.

He was member of the Brazilian Telecommunications Society (SBrT) and Young Professional Member of the Institute of Electrical and Electronics Engineers (IEEE). He was Chair in IEEE Student Branch of IFPB-CG, in which he received the award of Noble President of the group. He also received the award of Revelation Student Branch of the Brazil Counsel in the National Meeting of Branches (RNR 2013).

He researched about Software Engineering with focus in models in a research project at IFPB, and for your monograph, he researched about Objective Metrics for Evaluating Video Quality. In master degree, research about deep learning, digital signage and computer vision. He was member at HP project named ArBigData2 (in 2015) and ArBigData3 (in 2016), in which, he developed applications using 2D and 3D object recognition.
