My name is Alessio, I’m 28 years old Italian who has been living in Glasgow for the past 3 years.

Despite the fantastic and tasty food that Scotland has to offer, I miss the taste of home!

And so, I am constantly looking for the flavours of my beloved land, such as a carbonara, a cacio pepe or a nice plate of lasagne, like the one my mother used to make me, which gave me that home feeling.

In this website you can find not just nice Italian restaurants in Glasgow, such

as Sugo, Amore and Antipasti, (see the list below) but also videos with reccomended recipes regarding Italian dishes and how to cook them at home with your own hands!

To help you out I asked a little help from chef Gordon Ramsay and chef Gino D'Acampo which will show you how to impress family or friends with some of the easiest home made Italian dishes.

This will not teach you everything you will need to know about Italian cuisine and it will give you a taste of what Italian cooking style is.

Showing you that we are not just people made of pasta, pizza and mozzarella, but much more with dishes that are based on years of history and passion in bringing good flavor to the table.
