What is CYBER BULLYING?

Cyber bullying is a form of bullying that takes place by using a cell phone, the Internet, chat rooms, and through social media websites such as Facebook, Snap Chat, and Instagram just to name a few.

Cyber bullying has become a new epidemic that can have negative lasting effects on people's lives. People who have fallen victim to a cyber bully has increased chance of depression, loss of self-esteem, and will tend to seclude their self from other interactions with others. The bully may not realize the full effect of their actions because they do not see the immediate and lasting result. It is important to know when you have fallen victim, were a witness, or even been a cyber bully to help stop the cycle.

The goal of this web quest is to teach you how to identify a cyber bully as well as how to help someone who is being bullied by a cyber bully.

  2. Go to the TASK page and complete each task to learn more about cyber bullying. You will be required to complete each task to receive credit.
  3. Go to the EVALUATION to complete your final step of the web quest.
