Dr. Iswar Hazarika is presently been appointed as the Inspector of Drugs, under the Drugs control administration of Assam, in the Baksa District of Assam. He was an Assistant Professor of Pharmacology in the department of Pharmacology, Girijananda Chowdhury Institute of Pharmaceutical Sciences, Guwahati, Assam. He also had worked in Dayananda Sagar University and T John College of Pharmacy Bangalore and has an experience of 8 years.

He completed his schooling from Jawahar Navodaya Vidyalaya, Dhemaji and completed his B. Pharm from Regional Institute of Paramedical Sciences, Aizwal. He has done his M. Pharm from The Oxford college of Pharmacy, Bangalore and completed his PhD from Dayananda Sagar University, Bangalore, Karnataka.
