We are the Idaho State University Association of Computing Machinery – Women’s Chapter (ISU ACM-W). This Chapter is chartered by ACM and will serve all interested persons for general member in the following departments of Idaho State University-

The Chapter is organized and will be operated exclusively for educational and scientific purposes to promote the following:
Creating a supportive community that empowers women in computing by providing mentorship, networking opportunities, and resources to help them succeed in their academic and professional careers.
Offering workshops, seminars, and training that enhance technical skills, leadership abilities, and knowledge in the computing field, enabling members to excel in their chosen areas of interest.
Advocating for gender diversity and inclusion in the technology industry, challenging stereotypes and fostering a culture of equality and respect in the field of computing and engineering.
Increased recruitment and retention of women in computing throughout the pipeline including activities for girls in K–12, undergraduate and graduate students, and professionals.
A means of communication between persons having an interest in computing and women in computing.
