Activity: Presentation of Graduation Projects and Capstone Courses in the Academic Year 2012

Activity Description:

By presenting graduation projects and the learning results of capstone courses, students from the department sat the International College may look back on their learning results over the past four years. The participation in this presentation on campus also helps enhance the academic communication among departments of the International College. One faculty member shall be assigned from each department of the International College to judge at the preliminary and final competitions; two faculty members of the College of Management shall be invited as judges as well. A judge shall not score the presentations by students from his/her department.

Preliminary competition: the judges shall score contestants’ posters and written reports to select and rank the top 10 finalists.

Final competition: the judges shall take contestants’ score in the preliminary competition into consideration and score their oral presentations. Top 5 groups will receive a certificate of merit and prizes; the other 5 groups will receive a certificate of merit.

All students from the International College may take part in the competition, and the topicsof presentation may include projects from general courses, capstone courses, graduations projects or NSC College Student Research Projects. Four groups from two departments (Dept. of International Business Administration& Dept. of International Tourism &Hospitality) registered for the activity, and four presentations were awarded with a certificate of merit and prizes. The President will award winning groups in early June, and the prize-winning posters will be presented at the hallway on the 7th floor of the International College Building.
