Well, to be honest, we've wondered the same thing! Have you ever been watching your favorite British cooking show where contestants were asked to produce a pudding, and what comes out looks something like this?
If so, you may be thinking to yourself, "Wait, that's not the cup of yummy chocolate flavored gelatinous goo I used to eat at lunch in middle school! That thing looks like a cake!" We agree with you!
But did you know that pudding has different definitions in different countries? Neither did we.
That's why "IsThisPudding.com" was born!

Though clearly of the highest quality, we are not the only place on the interwebs devoted to pudding. Not by a long shot! We would be remiss if we did not acknowledge our distinguished predecessor, http://pudim.com.br/ . This pudding website has been live since the mid-1990's, and the entire site only contains a single low-resolution image of a pudding partially cut off from the picture. The pudding on this site was significant enough that it was hacked by the Islamic State in 2015 (seriously, look it up). Maybe they were the ones that sliced the piece out of it.
It may not seem like much, but it's important to give credit to those who have come before. We stand upon the shoulders of a giant! Thank you, pudim.com.br!
