IMBM Istanbul Topology Days is a four-day research conference intended for researchers in geometric topology, with a particular focus on mapping class group theory, contact topology, and low-dimensional topology.
The first two days of the conference are primarily designed for Master’s and Ph.D. students and early-career researchers interested in the field. Limited travel support is available for junior participants. Please fill out the registration form above accordingly. See Logistics for more info.
Lightning Talks
The conference will also feature a session of five-minute lightning talks by graduate students and early-career researchers about their research. If you are interested in giving such a talk, please indicate your interest in the registration form.
Deadlines for Registration
All participants planning to attend the conference, whether or not they are requesting funding, must register by May 1st, 2026.
The deadline for submitting proposals for Lightning Talks is April 15th, 2026.
Junior participants in need of accommodation must register by April 1st, 2026.
