Facilities

The lab is equipped with state-of-the-art facilities to promote research and enable students to learn, understand, and apply concepts effectively.

It is designed with a modern modular infrastructure, featuring air conditioning, wired LAN, and Wi-Fi connectivity. Most computing systems come with an OEM warranty of under five years. For systems beyond warranty, hardware maintenance is handled by the institution’s facility management center. Academic software is regularly purchased or upgraded as needed. The central computer center maintains internet and Wi-Fi connections, while internal departmental LANs are managed by the department’s technical staff. Electrical maintenance is overseen by the Resident Engineer’s Office in collaboration with departmental staff. Lab air conditioners are covered under an annual maintenance contract with the OEM, and CCTV cameras and networks are also maintained by the department's technical team.

Our lab features an extensive collection of over 100 books spanning cybersecurity, programming, networking, and other advanced computing topics, offering a wealth of knowledge for learning and research.
