SURFACE ELECTRICAL INSALLATION
Surface wiring is a system in which the wires are simply run across the surface of a wall or ceiling but are concealed and protected by a decorative cover or channel. The advantage of surface wiring is that it can be done with little or no disruption to existing finishes. This can be a real plus especially when wallpaper or paneling is involved. The disadvantage (and the objection that most folks have to this system) is that it can be difficult to conceal and can “stick out like a sore thumb.” However, where walls are made of block, concrete or other material that make wire-fishing impossible, surface wiring might be the only practical choice. Note: this type of surface wiring system is not designed for exterior use. There are other surface wiring systems which are approved for exterior use.
TRUNKING WIRING INSTALLATION
Cable electrical trunking is a popular choice which is an enclosure used to protect cables from damage and keep the wires tidy. Cable electrical trunking is usually in a square or rectangular shape with hinges to provide easy access to the cable when required. Without cable electrical trunking, it would be an eyesore having cables run loosely around the walls and floors therefore using cable trunking provides a clean appearance to your home or workplace. It is widely used in various environments including homes, hotel and hospitals.
EARTHING AND THUNDER ARRESTOR INSTALLATION
Lightning is known to strike the closest path it sees and at such any tall building in an environment is prone to lightning.
In the presence of a thunder arrestor which is few metres above the house, the lightning will pick the path of the thunder arrestor which sends it straight to the ground

The important thing you must remember is that for you to get DSTV Signal very well, you must mount the Dish to face the East-Direction. Now, regardless of your environment, for you to know your East Direction from anywhere you are, is simply identifying the direction of Rising of the Sun.
Now, make sure there is no tree, building, or high tension electric wire very close to where you want to mount the Dish otherwise, it will block the signal
