ISQBS is an international event held yearly since the Institute of Quantum Beam Science of Ibaraki University (IQBS-IU) was established in 2016. Every ISQBS opened under its scientific theme. This event aims to showcase recent advances in the quantum (beam) sciences from across the globe at Ibaraki University, Japan.
ISQBS2022 consists of invited speaker sessions and student sessions.
The student/Young Researcher sessions will be organized by graduate students of Ibaraki University.
Topics covered in ISQBS2022
Invited Speaker Sessions(Hybrid): Recent advances in theoretical and computational chemistry and materials informatics related to quantum (beam) sciences. Also, in functional organic materials.
Student/Young Researcher Sessions(Online: A session of 18th International Student Conference at Ibaraki University): Quantum beam sciences not only in theoretical and computational chemistry but also in others such as condensed matter physics, structural biology, synchrotron radiation science, material science, and engineering (basic sciences: The security export control of Japan must be applied). This session's speakers are open to students and young researchers who received a Ph.D. degree within three years. (1-5 pm on 3rd December 2022) (Submission is CLOSED) (Oral only)
