The Glasgow integrable systems and mathematical physics pre-seminar is run by PhD students for PhD students. The aim is to give an informal talk each week before the main seminar introducing the topics and allowing students to ask questions. This talk is usally given either by the speaker of the main seminar or by a PhD student. We encourage everyone attending to ask questions and discuss the material.
The pre-seminar is open to any student or post-doc who's interested in that week's talk. Details on each meeting are distributed through the mailing list.
Next Talk:
There are no more ISMP talks planned before Christmas. However on December 2nd there's the Fox and Hedgehog seminar at 16:00 in 311b, this talk, given by Alex Bartel, should be of interest to the ISMP group.
Organiser:
The current organiser and creator of the ISMP pre-seminar is Willoughby Seago, who can be contacted at firstname [dot] lastname [at] glasgow [dot] ac [dot] uk.
