The 1st International Symposium on Molecular Materials for Future

February 1st(Sat) - 2nd(Sun), 2025 / Sendai / Japan

Registration is now open.

Welcome!

Molecular science is a crucial field of study not only in the realm of chemistry but also for explaining a wide range of phenomena in biology and physics. As an interdisciplinary research area, it has earned recognition as a "central science." One area gaining particular attention in recent years involves molecular materials that exhibit unique functionalities in response to external stimuli. These materials have been reported to play roles in various applications, such as disrupting cell membranes, transporting microscale substances, and forming the principles behind stereoscopic displays. This versatility highlights their potential for practical applications across diverse fields. Amid growing societal demands for device miniaturization, molecular machines and devices that operate at the nanometer scale are expected to play increasingly significant roles in the future.

This symposium aims to provide a platform for advancing the boundaries between molecular science and other research areas such as biology and physics. By uniting participants with diverse research backgrounds, we seek to foster cross-disciplinary collaboration, eliminate national and disciplinary boundaries in science, and pave the way for innovative discoveries. Over two days of intensive discussions, participants will share their expertise, explore innovative research ideas, and seek opportunities for groundbreaking collaborations.

We are looking forward to your participation! See you in Sendai!
