Assalah ("the App") is developed and maintained by IsmatApps. This Privacy Policy explains how we handle information when you use our App. We are committed to protecting your privacy and being transparent about our practices.

Location Data

The App requests access to your device's location (GPS) for the sole purpose of calculating accurate prayer times for your geographic area. Your location is:

• Used only on your device to fetch prayer times from the Aladhan API

• Never stored on any server owned by us

• Never shared with third parties for advertising or tracking purposes

• Only accessed when the App is in use

Data Stored On Your Device

The following data is stored locally on your device only:

• Prayer times (cached for offline use)

• Your alarm preferences per prayer

• Your last known location coordinates (for offline fallback)

This data never leaves your device and is not accessible to us.

Information We Do Not Collect

We want to be clear about what we do not do:

•  We do not collect your name, email, or any personal identity

•  We do not require account registration or sign-in

•  We do not use Firebase, Google Analytics, or any analytics tools

•  We do not display advertisements

•  We do not sell, trade, or share your data with anyone

•  We do not track your usage or behavior within the App

•  We do not access your contacts, camera, microphone, or files

Third Party Services

The App uses the Aladhan API (api.aladhan.com) to fetch prayer times. When prayer times are requested, your device's latitude and longitude coordinates are sent to the Aladhan API servers to calculate accurate times for your location.

We use no other third party services, SDKs, or libraries that collect personal data.

Data Security

All data generated by the App is stored locally on your device using Android's secure storage mechanisms:

• Room Database for cached prayer times

• DataStore for preferences and settings

Both are private to the App and protected by Android's application sandbox. No one, including us, can access this data remotely.

Children's Privacy

The App does not knowingly collect any information from children under the age of 13. The App contains no user accounts, social features, or data collection of any kind, making it safe for users of all ages.

Changes To This Privacy Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. Any changes will be reflected with an updated date at the top of this page. We encourage you to review this policy periodically. Continued use of the App after changes are posted constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.

Your Rights

Since we do not collect any personal data, there is no personal information to access, correct, or delete. All data stored by the App lives on your own device and can be cleared at any time by uninstalling the App or clearing App data in your device Settings.
