Privacy Policy for iMagnify

Overview

iMagnify is a camera magnifier with on-device text recognition and text-to-speech. We follow a **local-first** approach: core features run on your device. **We do not collect, store, or sell personal information.**

Information We Do Not Collect

We do not require an account and we do not collect:

- Name, email, phone number, or other contact details  

- Precise or approximate location  

- Contacts, photos library, or files from your device  

- Advertising IDs or analytics/usage profiles  

- Camera images, video, or recognized text for storage or transmission to our servers  

We do not use ads, analytics SDKs, or crash-reporting SDKs in the app.

How the App Uses Device Features

Camera

Camera access is required for live magnification and text recognition. The camera stream is processed **in real time on your device**. The app does **not** record, save, or upload photos or video.

Text recognition (OCR)

Text recognition uses **Google ML Kit** on-device. Recognized text is held temporarily in memory for display and optional reading aloud. It is **not** uploaded to IsmatApps servers.

Text-to-speech

Spoken audio uses the device’s built-in Android text-to-speech engine. Speech processing stays on your device (subject to your system TTS settings).

Optional tips (in-app purchases)

You may optionally tip the developer through **Google Play Billing**. Payment details are handled by Google Play. The app never receives or stores your card or payment information.

IsmatApps does not operate a backend that receives your camera or OCR content from this app.

Data retention and security

Because we do not collect personal data on our servers, there is no personal data retained by IsmatApps for this app. On-device processing relies on Android platform security.

Children’s privacy

iMagnify is not directed at children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If you believe a child has provided personal information to us, contact us and we will delete it if we have any.

Changes to this policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. The “Effective date” at the top will be revised when changes are posted. Continued use of the app after an update means you accept the revised policy.
