Let's start with some new abilities:
OUTLIVER
Experience matters — but so does surviving the battlefield.
The Outliver ability rewards players who manage to keep their creatures alive through the heat of battle.
Particularly fitting for white and red, it can find a place in any color with ease.
STRONGEST
The law of the strongest is a universal law — and some creatures know it all too well.
Particularly fitting for green, but also for red and white, Strongest brings a compelling new ability to the game.
The possibilities are endless, and it blends seamlessly into the lore of the game and its beasts.
VENDETTA
The death of a creature in battle is always a significant loss, but with the ability vendetta you can turn it to your advantage, giving back to the opponent what they dealt to you.
Vendetta lends itself to being used in all colors, especially those more suited to combat.
You can create various interactions, particularly well-suited for sets that revolve around heavy removal.
FAMILIAR
Every self-respecting wizard has their familiar, and if it also has a magical effect, even better.
Familiars are comparable to enchantments, but you can only have one in play.
Since they are neither creatures nor enchantments, you need a removal spell that targets any permanent to get rid of them.
WORSHIP
'Believe in the ideal, not the idol'. Ever since it was created, worship has always been an iconic Magic card to me. It was only natural, therefore, to create an ability inspired by that card.
Worship is a bit like poison, but in reverse: if you reach 10 counters, divine intervention strikes down your opponent and you win the game.
It is particularly suited to colors like white, green and black and is an ability that does not require the cards using it to be particularly nerfed to stay balanced.
GIGANTISM
Especially suited to red and green creatures, gigantism surprises the opponent with the explosive growth of some creatures.
Among the cards shown is also a way to counter gigantism without naming it.
It is also easy to create interactions with creatures that trigger an effect when you remove the gigantism counter.
CONCATENATE
Those who like to cast a lot of spells in a turn will definitely like the Concatenate.
Concatenate is a new way to get an additional, often completely different, effect from spells.
It lends itself particularly well to constructed, and the colors that enhance it the most are certainly red and blue.
QUEST
In a fantasy world, what is the best way to start the action? A quest!
Quests are similar to enchantments, but they have a progression, a reward and at the end they have to be sacrificed.
The possibilities are endless — you can even create repeatable quests.
ARIDITY
The lands have grown arid and barren — but that's not always a bad thing. Far from it!
In the mid and late game, drawing lands becomes a liability — aridity helps you optimize your draws when it matters most.
Red is the color that naturally pairs with this ability.
FULLNESS
Being tapped out has never been more convenient — with fullness you unlock a wide variety of abilities to use to your advantage.
Particularly well-suited for green, fullness is a simple but not trivial mechanic.
Furthermore, it is possible to create instants that can be used at zero cost, making instant-speed answers possible even without mana.
GEM OF TIME
Scry is an ability that all players enjoy — creating a token that lets you use it whenever you want is a welcome addition to any game.
Time gems also lend themselves to various uses, in addition to being stackable for various effects.
Blue is the color of time spells and artifacts, but gems look good everywhere.
PILLAGE
What's the favorite sport of goblins and orcs? Pillaging, of course!
Pillage is an ability that fits these two races like a glove, but blue or green magical creatures could make great use of it too!
Perfect for a specific archetype, it creates interesting combinations with cards that grant trample.
ANGEL TOKEN
Angels are divine creatures — but they can also become fearsome warriors.
Conceived as a blend of red and white, it weaves a rich and compelling lore.
The applicable combinations are plentiful, making the archetype varied and exciting.
