Art direction, advanced layout, and print-ready final production.
I have been immersed in graphic design for over 20 years. If there is one thing I have learned, it is that a great idea is useless without flawless technical execution—and vice versa.
I work across both visual identity and complex editorial publications for major accounts and corporate institutions. I involve myself in the project from start to finish: from the initial concept and custom asset illustration to meticulous layout design, strict adherence to brand guidelines, and the preparation of print-ready final arts that guarantee zero surprises at the press.
Here are some featured projects and collaborations:
Visual Identity, Iconography & Digital Asset Design
Development of the graphic ecosystem and brand identity elements for Science & Fun, a large-scale bilingual educational platform focused on science teaching in Primary Education. My work centered on creating an attractive, functional visual line aligned with the project's pedagogical tone, taking charge of:
Identity & Branding: Conceptualization and design of logos for the platform's different sections and thematic modules.
Iconography Systems: Creation of a custom, stylized iconic language to categorize over 800 interactive resources (experiments, games, videos, and worksheets).
Web & Promotional Assets: Design of promotional banners and dynamic header images to structure the user interface and thematic collections.
Identity & Physical Packaging Design
La Aventura de Darwin (Darwin's Adventure) is a premium interactive educational unit originally designed for physical media (DVD-ROM) and later integrated into the Elesapiens web platform. Built around the figure of the famous naturalist, his voyage aboard the HMS Beagle, and the theory of evolution, the project features an animated film and a suite of educational mini-games.
My role encompassed the product's identity design and full graphic development for both software and packaging:
Packaging & Physical Media: Design of the outer DVD cover and disc art for the printed media, blending a classic field journal aesthetic with clean vector design.
Backgrounds & Asset System: Creation of illustrated backgrounds for the animated film and UI design for the inner interactive games (such as "Darwin's Suitcase").
Menu Systems & User Interfaces (UI): Design of the button layouts, navigable assets, and loading screens for the DVD-ROM game suite.
Promotional Campaigns & Nightlife Branding
Laydown was one of the most disruptive clubs and restaurants in Madrid's nightlife scene, renowned for its boundary-pushing Mediterranean haute cuisine concept where guests dined on giant beds before the space transformed into a house music nightclub with live shows. For this client, I managed the ongoing visual communication, spanning from email marketing assets to the identity of their most exclusive clubbing sessions.
My work for the brand was divided into two main lines of action:
Digital Editorial & Flyers (Laydown): Continuous design of monthly newsletters and layout formatting for promotional flyers for events and themed dinners, balancing the sophistication of the restaurant with the energy of the club.
Full Branding & Identity (Fiesta Watermelon): Ground-up identity creation for the "Watermelon" party session. The project required a fresh, summer-inspired, urban approach, resolved through custom lettering and a central illustration integrated as the main event logo.
Environmental Awareness Campaigns & Product Design
Collaboration with the Spanish Red Cross in developing educational and exhibition materials aimed at raising social awareness about sustainability, water resources, and the climate emergency. This block encompasses three projects with distinct production needs, formats, and design languages:
Editorial Design — "Moviéndonos por el Agua" Book: Conceptualization, layout, and design of the educational publication. The challenge lay in structuring technical data and pedagogical methodologies into a visually engaging, fluid, and accessible editorial format.
Exhibition Design — Climate Change Signage: Graphic development of physical information panels for traveling exhibitions and Red Cross events. Large-scale design focusing on visual hierarchy, clear infographics, and long-distance readability in public spaces.
Product & Game Design — "Terra": Full graphic development of an educational game presented in a suitcase format. The project included the structural design of the container, instruction booklet layout, board illustrations, and production design for the game pieces and physical components.
Social Editorial Design & Testimonial Compilation
Layout and design of the corporate editorial publication dedicated to showcasing and valuing the social impact of the CaixaBank Volunteering teams. The project involved fluidly structuring a vast collection of real testimonials from employees and collaborators describing their first-hand experiences in social action.
The editorial layout was structured to clearly segment the publication into the program's core pillars:
Childhood & Youth: Section layouts focused on school support programs, educational leisure, and youth reinforcement.
Elderly Care: Visual structuring of blocks dedicated to companionship, closing the digital divide, and active aging.
Social Exclusion Risk: Formatting sensitive content related to supporting vulnerable families and soup kitchens.
Disability & Functional Diversity: Graphic development of chapters oriented toward social integration, adapted sports, and employability workshops.
The main challenge was to unify CaixaBank’s corporate identity with a human, accessible editorial design, where typography, whitespace, and photographic portrait treatment gave absolute prominence to the volunteers' personal stories.
