Terms and Conditions for Becoming a Singer with ISMAC Records
1. Agreement to Terms By signing a contract with ISMAC Records ("the Company"), you agree to these Terms and Conditions ("the Terms"). Please review them carefully before entering into any agreement.
2. Artist Independence
As an artist with ISMAC Records, you retain full creative and operational control over your music and brand.
You are responsible for writing, recording, producing, and promoting your music.
You will handle all aspects of your career, including scheduling, collaborations, and marketing strategies.
3. Company Role
ISMAC Records acts solely as a distributor for your music, providing access to distribution platforms and ensuring timely delivery of your releases.
The Company does not provide financial advances, studio time, or other resources beyond distribution services.
4. Rights and Ownership
You retain all rights to your music, including master recordings and intellectual property.
ISMAC Records does not claim ownership over your music but may use your name, image, and likeness for promotional purposes related to distribution.
5. Financial Terms
Distribution fees and other financial arrangements will be outlined in your specific contract.
You will receive all earnings from your music after deductions for agreed distribution fees.
6. Termination
Either party may terminate the agreement in cases of breach of contract, insolvency, or mutual consent.
Upon termination, ISMAC Records will cease distribution of your music as per the contract terms.
7. Code of Conduct
You agree to act professionally in all dealings with ISMAC Records.
Behavior that damages the reputation of ISMAC Records may result in penalties or termination of the agreement.
8. Confidentiality
You agree to keep confidential all proprietary information shared by ISMAC Records, including distribution processes and business strategies.
Breach of confidentiality may result in immediate termination of the agreement.
9. Dispute Resolution
Any disputes arising from this agreement will be resolved through direct discussion between the artist and ISMAC Records.
If a resolution cannot be reached, both parties agree to seek guidance from a mutually agreed third party.
This process is intended to avoid costly legal proceedings and maintain a collaborative relationship.
10. Amendments
These Terms may be updated by ISMAC Records. Any changes will be communicated to you and, where required, must be agreed upon in writing.
