In the May 2022 Student Training, we asked iSLICEE fellows to develop their own websites. We gave them two website options: (1) a digital portfolio website and/or (2) a class website (for parents and students). Most students chose to make a digital portfolio website. These students plan to update their website throughout their student teaching year to document their experience. A few students also created a class website for students and parents of their future classroom.
In the May 2021 Student Training, we asked iSLICEE fellows to develop a website for their mentor teacher. This website was to be a place for students and parents to go to for more information about their teacher, student teacher, and classroom. Students personalized these websites based on the grade level and subjects of their mentor teachers. They also included links to resources and websites that the used frequently throughout the year.
