A full day adventure from Reykjavík, exploring the natural wonders and history of the neighbouring South region. This will include a visit to the magnificent waterfall, Gullfoss, the original Geysir with its‘ surrounding steam blowing hot springs, Thingvellir National Park, a UNESCO World Heritage Site, where you can see the separation of tectonic plates along the Mid-Atlantic Rift and learn about the connections of the site to the formation of the oldest democratically elected parliament in the world.
The tour will also take us to other historical and geological sites and introduce you to the use of green energy in Iceland.
Price per person is 21.900 isk or approx 150 euros and lunch at Friðheimar & dinner at Ion Adventure Hotel Nesjavellir are included in the price.
