Our school has a vibrant team of “Parents Teachers Association”. Every three months PTA is conducting its Executive Board Meetings and regularly they are directing the management for the betterment of students and campus as well. Last year PTA offered Rs. 10,000 on whole as a complement for the top scorers in 10th & 12th std. PTA sponsored one of the R. O. System, part of CCTV Camera and for constructing a new and separate wash rooms for K. G. (girls) section. Regularly PTA is conducting Parents and as well as Teachers meeting to identify and short-out the challenges the students, staff and in general the campus is facing. This academic year totally four Parent meetings are conducted till now section wise.
The alumni of our school have 400 members who give ideas and work lot to uplift the school activities in a well manner. This year, the management has a plan to conduct a “Career Guidance” program to the 12th Std. students with Alumni Association.
For the betterment of society, the Islamic Educational Trust offered financial aid in the form of Concessions, Loans and Full Free Education for the students. The orphans, The Needed and The Poor People are got around Rs. 62, 7120 as a stipend and the kids of the school staff are got around Rs. 24, 8950 as a stipend. In total the Trust spends Rs. 8, 76,070 as scholarships. Totally 141 students were benefited with this aid in the 2015 – 2016 academic year.
Generally two academic motivation and one Educational & Career Guidance program would be held for the betterment of Islamiyah Students. By this year two programs was held by the second week of October for those who are going to appear in Public Exams.
“The Hindu” – A leading News Agency conducted a program and one was conducted by the eminent Personality Development and Soft Skill Trainer Mr. Mohammed Azad. Students were asked to fill a personality chart, Real Time Assignment, and so on to build confidence and came out from there annex. Students are really motivated a much.
Islamiyah has so many clubs inside the campus to promote social responsibility and leadership Skill’s among the students. The Bharat Scout, Junior Red Cross, National Green Corps, Red Ribbon Club and The Road Safety Patrol are some the main clubs actively engaged in Islamiyah. Here are some of the activities of the club. With the Road Safety Patrol, R.S.P - students worked well in the road safety program and got good encouragements.
The leading Bank, The Karur Vysya conducted a State Level Drawing Competition on the theme, “Go Green” to celebrate our nation’s 70th Independence Day. Our student won 2nd prize in District level.
Sri Ramakrishna Institutions had organized an “Elocution Competition” for all the school students in Coimbatore in the view of World Students Day on the remembrance of our former President of India *Dr.A.P.J. Abdul Kalam* at Velumaniammal Kalyana Mandapam. With the grace of ALMIGHTY, U.FAYAS AHMED of ISLAMIYAH has won the 1st Prize with a cash amount of Rs.5000 /-
Last year, STUDENTS ISLAMIC ORGANISATION (SIO) conducted a district level fest, “Intellect 2015” with many competitions includes Tamil, English Essay Writing, speech competition, dance, cooking, wealth out of waste, spell bee, drawing, fancy dress etc.… in all these competition more than 50 schools participated. In it our school students achieved 8 prizes and they ranked 2nd on the whole.
In the month of August 2015, FEVICOL institution conducted science exhibition for the students of 5th to 9th, were 200 students participated and 100 students were honored by them. 2015 November LOTUS Institution conducted essay competition. In it our student of 6th std. got first prize with cash of rupees 2000/-
