CodeScape Bangladesh built the Islamic Day (ইসলামিক ডে) app as a free application supported by ads. This SERVICE is provided by CodeScape Bangladesh and is intended for use as is.

We use Firebase Remote Config to dynamically update app features, content, and settings without requiring an app update.  

Remote Config does not collect personally identifiable information (PII) from users.

📍 Location Permission Usage

The Islamic Day app uses location permission strictly for the following purpose:

• To determine the user’s approximate city or region

• To calculate accurate prayer times according to the user’s location

• Showing nearby mosques

• Is accessed only when required

• Is not stored on our servers

• Is not shared with any third party

• Can be revoked anytime via device settings

Users may deny or revoke location permission at any time from device settings.

⏰ Alarm & Notification Permissions

The app uses the following permissions to deliver prayer-related notifications:

Exact Alarm Permission

• Used to trigger time-critical prayer notifications (Fajr, Dhuhr, Asr, Maghrib, Isha)

• Ensures notifications are delivered at the exact prayer times

Wake Lock Permission

• Used briefly to ensure notifications are triggered on time when the device is in sleep mode

• Released immediately after the notification task is completed

Notification Permission

• Used to display prayer time reminders and Islamic notifications

• Users can enable or disable notifications at any time

📢 Third-Party Services

The app uses third-party services that may collect information used to identify you. These services operate under their own privacy policies.

Third-party services used by the app include:

• Google Play Services

• AdMob

• Google Analytics for Firebase

• Firebase Remote Config

• Remote Config data is fetched securely from Firebase servers and does not contain any personal user information. All user preferences and data remain stored locally on the device.

🔧 How to Delete Your Data

You can delete all app data at any time using any of the following methods:

1️⃣ From Inside the App

• Open the app

• Go to Menu → Delete All Data

• Tap Delete All 

• All locally stored data will be permanently removed

2️⃣ From Android Device Settings

• Open Android Settings → Apps → Islamic Day

• Tap Storage

• Select Clear Storage / Clear Data

• This will reset the app and remove all stored data

3️⃣ By Uninstalling the App

• Uninstalling the app will automatically remove all associated data from your device

• Know what data is stored locally on your device

• Delete all app data whenever you choose
