Billion Ventures LLC ("we," "us," or "our") built the Is It Vegan? app as a Freemium app. This SERVICE is provided by Billion Ventures LLC at no cost with optional paid subscriptions and is intended for use as is.

We highly value your privacy. The "Is It Vegan?" app is designed to be used completely anonymously. We do not require you to create an account, nor do we collect personally identifiable information (PII) such as your name, email address, or phone number.
Our app requires access to your device’s camera to scan and read ingredient lists.
Local Processing: All optical character recognition (OCR) and text analysis is performed locally on your device or via secure, anonymized requests.
No Image Storage: We do not record, store, or upload the photos you take with the camera to our servers. The camera is strictly used in real-time to extract text for vegan analysis.
We offer optional premium subscriptions (Pro version). All financial transactions are securely processed directly through the Google Play Store (and/or Apple App Store).
We do not collect, view, or store your credit card details, billing address, or payment information.
We use a secure third-party service (RevenueCat) strictly to verify your anonymous subscription status and unlock premium features on your device.
To improve the app, we may collect anonymous, non-identifying diagnostic data (Log Data) when the app crashes or encounters an error. This Log Data may include information such as your device Internet Protocol (“IP”) address, device name, operating system version, the configuration of the app when utilizing our Service, the time and date of your use of the Service, and other basic statistics. This data is entirely anonymous and used exclusively to fix bugs and improve performance.

These Services do not address anyone under the age of 13. We do not knowingly collect personally identifiable information from children under 13. In the case we discover that a child under 13 has provided us with personal information, we immediately delete this from our servers.
