The Mathematics of Complex and Nonlinear Phenomena (MCNP) group at Northumbria University welcomes you to the 2026 edition of the workshop Integrable Systems in Newcastle: Integrable Nonlinear Differential Equations and Applications. The event is part of the collaborative workshops series "Classical and Quantum Integrability", partially supported by Northumbria University, the London Mathematical Society, Joint Research Group - Scheme 3 and the Isaac Newton Institute and the Heilbronn Institute (Additional Funding Programme for Mathematical Sciences, delivered by EPSRC EP/V521917/1)
This workshop aims at exploring trends in integrable systems and its applications. Indeed, integrability plays a central role in a variety of fields in mathematics and physics, from nonlinear waves to algebra, from statistical mechanics to optics and superfluids. This meeting is made possible thanks to the support of the London Mathematical Society and Northumbria's Interdisciplinary Research Theme - Faculty of Engineering and Environment.
