Integrable Systems in Newcastle 2021

Virtual Meeting

A two-day virtual event on integrability and its applications

The Mathematics of Complex and Nonlinear Phenomena (MCNP) group at Northumbria University welcomes you to the 2021 edition of the workshop Integrable Systems in Newcastle: Integrability and Applications. The event is part of a series of meetings within the London Mathematical Society Joint Research Group - Scheme 3 on the theme of Classical and Quantum Integrability, whose purpose is to bring together UK and international mathematicians working on integrability and its applications. This year the workshop is going to be held online.

Integrable systems play a pivotal role in various fields of mathematics and physics. Indeed, integrability is fundamental to understand and explore a wide variety of physical systems and phenomena, ranging from nonlinear waves to statistical mechanics, from optics and superfluids to quantum field theory. The aim of this workshop is to explore recent trends in the field and its applications to physics. This meeting is made possible thanks to the support of the London Mathematical Society and the Department of Mathematics, Physics and Electrical Engineering at Northumbria University.
