ISHTEYAAQ AHMAD

Ishteyaaq Ahmad is an academician at Uttaranchal School of Computing Sciences, Uttaranchal University, Dehradun. He is having more than two decades of teaching experience. His areas of interest include Online education, Social Media Technologies, Programming, Software Engineering, and Artificial Intelligence.

He is Co-Instructor and Creative Director of MOOC on the SWAYAM platform of the Ministry of Human Resource & Development, Government of India (The MOOC was rated as one of the Top 100 free courses of all time by ClassCentral). Presently developing an OER under the 6th Open Education for a Better World (OE4BW) International program of the University of Nova Gorica and UNESCO Chair on Open Technologies for OER. He has to credit two e-Learning courses in the form of Open Educational Resources for Commonwealth of Learning (COL). He also received a Young Scientist and Professional research grant funded by the Department of Science & Technology, Government of India. He is a Fellow of the India School on Internet Governance (inSIG2017) organized by Internet Society.

He is skilled in critical thinking, creativity, problem-solving, and self-management.
