A male protagonist of A Silent Voice, a character who starts as a destructive and bored bully in elementary school but transforms into a lonely, depressed individual consumed by guilt in his high school years. He seeks redemption by attempting to reconnect with Shoko Nishimiya, the deaf girl he once tormented, in a painful process of self-forgiveness and mending past mistakes. 

She is the younger sister of nishimiya, shouko. The one who has a quite of a hobby of photography and arts. Helps her older sister from some things and is always by her side. She is also known for being a bit strict and protective at Shouko since she doesn't want her to be hurt anymore, she doesn't want her older sister be suffering the same situation all over again.

She is Shouko's childhood best friend. She is kind and well-mannered. Of course In this scene she is excited and is over to the moon when she finally met shouko once again. They laughed and spend time with eachotehr whil shoya steps aside to respect their boundaries and conversation. She also transfered school when they're still In elementary. Taking anote that she is the first friend of shouko that stayed loyal to her and trust-worthy. Also protective and have a soft spot for shouko.

She Is Shoya's niece, since she was a daughter of his older sister which we never seen her face. Maria is a sweet, gentle, kind and hyperactive kid like any other kid of course. When maria saw his uncle Shoya came back home again after being dischargeed at the hospital, she runs to him and cried at him, she loves his uncle shoya that much.

She Is a mother of Shoya and Shoya' older sister. She Is a professional hairdresser. She owned a hairdresser shop which means there some times that hoya helps her. Her right ear where her earrings where  attached was cut off when Shouko's mother snatched her earring out of her earlobe. That scene was not clearly showned but It takes details to notice. She is kind, sweet, gentle, calm and also generous.

She Is a mother of Shouko's. She is known for being protective to her daughters especially when It comes to shouko. when she knew that her daughter was getting bullied because her daughter's sensei told her that unexpected accidentl event. After that, shoya's mother and her talked privately while shoya and shouko was outside but shouko was at the bench looking straight at her view looking upset and a bit of hint of frustration. Beiing also oblivous that shoya Is at her side walking behind her and stealing glances at her with a hint of curiousty and guilt. She confronted shoya's mother and some unexpected happened.

She Is one of the bullies and also a bit jealous of shouko. She found shouko as a weird girl as time went on at their elementary days. There's some times that she is mocking and teasing shouko behind her back and also making fun at her as her and friends laughed at her and also makes fun of her. Until everything went way too far.

She known for her gentle sweet kind personality, yet due to her bad influences of her frends, she did also find shouko as a weirdo and also makes fun of her, mocks and her and also teases her when she had a chance. Since she also has a narcisstic personality. She may be not directing of mocking her making fun of her and also teasing her. She just pleased her friends since she wants to be with them not be left out. Also acting a victim like she wasn't bullying shouko also.

He is Shoya Ishida's best friend in elementary school and he helped in the bullying of Shoko Nishimiya, but he never admitted to participating in it. Kazuki started bullying Shoya after the boy help pin the blame on him for Shoko being bullied. Due to this he still refused to be friends with Shoya even in high school as he told everyone in 7th grade to stay away from Shoya. When Shoya fell into a river after saving Shoko from committing suicide it was Kazuki and Keisuke who brought him to the hospital, however he still refuses to reconcile with Shoya. 

 He is one of the first people to gain the trust of Ishida, Shoya and is quick to call him a best friend. He has aspirations to become a filmmaker and pursues his goals with sincere passion. 

She Is Shouko and Yuzuru's maternal grandmother. A caring, wise woman, she cared for Shouko and Yuzuru when their father left and their mother was at work. She bought Yuzuru her first camera and tries to convince Yuzuru that her mother means well for both her and her sister.

Their elementary strict sensei, also kind and professional through his teachings.

He is Ishida Shoya, Nagatsuka Tomohiro, and Kawai Miki's classmate who becomes interested in helping with Tomohiro's film for the contest, wanting to be the lead actor and become Shoya's friend. 

He was Shoya Ishida's friend in elementary school and although he did bully Shoko Nishimiya, he wasn't a huge participant and in reality usually seemed uncomfortable picking on her. However, he was more than happy bullying Shoya later on. However he reconciled with him when they go to college.
