We are excited to share that the Department of Economics, CHRIST (Deemed to be University), in collaboration with Azim Premji University and ISHET, is organizing a public lecture by Beatrice Cherrier titled 'NEW PERSPECTIVES IN THE HISTORY OF MACROECONOMICS: COMPUTATION, CENTRAL BANKS, POLICIES, GENDER' on 19th September from 2 to 3 PM in Room 105, First Floor, Central Block, CHRIST (Deemed to be University), Koramangala, Bengaluru. ISHET is an educational society aimed at improving the study of the history of economic thought across India. Our objectives include the following:
To provide training for HET teachers
To facilitate workshops dealing with writing HET papers
To organise an annual research conference in HET
To support initiatives that encourage teaching and research in HET
