About ME

I am Dr. Ishan Sathone, and I work as an Assistant Professor in Mechanical Engineering at Pimpri Chinchwad College of Engineering, Pune. With over 13 years of experience in the field, I am passionate about guiding students in their project work, particularly in areas related to CAD and CAE.

My academic journey includes a Ph.D. from Savitribai Phule Pune University in the field of Biomechanics and an M.Tech in CAD/CAM from Visvesvaraya National Institute of Technology (VNIT). I possess hands-on expertise with various CAD and CAE tools, including Minitab, ANSYS, and CATIA. Additionally, I hold certifications in areas like 3D Experience platform, Python Data Structures and AI for Everyone, which showcases my commitment to continuous learning.

I strive to blend my academic knowledge with practical industry skills to provide meaningful guidance to my students. My work is not just about teaching but also about preparing the next generation of engineers to tackle real-world challenges.
