Awards and Scholarships

Daniel T. O’Connor Memorial Early Career Investigator Conference Travel Awards

A special scientific session for early career researchers (within 10 year of obtention of doctoral degree, or in training for doctoral degree under exceptional circumstances) will be organized in memory of Dr. Daniel T. O'Connor who was a pioneer scientist in the area of chromaffin cell biology and a vibrant advocate for encouraging early career biomedical researchers.

Selected candidates will make presentations of their studies in the ISCCB-20 conference. The award will consist of a certificate and cover expenses for attending the symposium, including economy class airfare, local travel, conference registration, hotel accommodation and meals.

Applications are invited from candidates working in the area of chromaffin cell biology or related areas. The candidates should send their resumes with publication details and abstracts of their proposed presentations to: isccb2020@gmail.com by 31st August, 2019. Please mention Dan O'Connor Memorial ECR travel award in the subject of your e-mail.

Scholarships

A limited number of ISCCB-20 Student Scholarships will be provided to post-doctoral fellows and graduate students to cover their Registration Fees.

Application Procedure:

Students applying for scholarships must submit their abstract in the prescribed format and upload it along with a curriculum vitae while filling the Scholarship Application Form*. Kindly note that you will need to be logged in to a Google account in order to fill out the form. Last date for applying for scholarship is October 20, 2019.


Poster Awards

Three best poster presentations will be awarded with ISCCB-20 Best Poster Certificates and Cash Prizes.
