Welcome to Library & Knowledge Resource Centre at ISBS

Vision: To develop as an excellent centre for information comprising of print and digital media of information and create a platform to the users to acquire the required information under a single root.

Mission: To provide the users with an opportunity to enhance their knowledge with an independent opening for learning beyond the curriculum.

The ISBS library facilitates the production and dissemination of knowledge, information, insights & intellect in all areas of Management.

The Library at Indira School of Business Studies houses 1718 no. of titles and 8872 no. of volumes of books, 36 National Journals, 13 Periodicals, 213 no. of Text Book & Reference CD's & DVD's along with subscription of ProQuest Management ABI Inform Global (5294 E-Journals) online database which includes all areas of business and management selectively chosen for reading and references and subscribed ProQuest E-Book Central Business & Economics - E-Books Collection (29000+ E-Books). Also ISBS library has registered for National Digital Library Institutional Membership. The collection includes resources relevant to teaching, learning, training, research and consultancy needs of the ISBS Library & Information Resource Center users. These resources can be access through multimedia library facility made available with 10 PCs at ISBS Library multimedia digital library section.

The User friendly Library software called SLIM21 has been adopted at the ISBS Library & Knowledge Resource Center to facilitate automation. This internationally popular software facilitates circulation (Issue & Return) of the books and speedy access to bibliographies, locations and availability information of the books stocked in the library.

The aim of the Library and Information Resource Center is to promote the ability to seek, evaluate, and employ Library & Information Resource Center resources in the full exercise of freedom of inquiry, which is an integral part of the education of students. To this end, the Library & Information Resource Center develops collections which uphold the learning and teaching objectives of a institution; organizes and provides both intellectual and physical access to materials; and guides members of our academic community toward a grasp of bibliographic and technical skills which facilitate use of the collections at hand and information resources worldwide.

One of our goals is to give best of the best information resources and services. Almost all operations and services are computerized to give you the efficient and effective services.
