The school was founded in 1908, making it one of the largest Technical Vocational School in the Cagayan valley. Its main campus is located in Calamagui 2nd, Ilagan City. ISAT annex is located at Cabannungan 2nd of the same City and is categorized as a Public High School.

The Isabela School of Arts and Trades-Main conducted a School Learning Action Cell (SLAC) session led by Dr. Mary Ann L. Catindig and Dr. Imelda S. Malayao. The session focused on addressing teachers' professional development needs, emphasizing curriculum implementation, classroom management, and learning assessment. Highlights included sharing best practices for addressing learning gaps caused by typhoon-related class suspensions. The program fostered collaboration among faculty, aiming to enhance teaching competencies and ensure quality education for all.

ANNOUNCEMENT ABOUT SATURDAY CLASSES
Under Regional Memorandum No. 441, S. 2024, this initiative is part of Project BANGON-Aral (Building Academic Nurturing Goals for Optimal Norms in Achieving Recovery and Learning). This project aims to bridge learning gaps and ensure students meet their necessary competencies for the current school year.
PERSONA IN ARTS 2024
Grade 11 STEM, HUMMS and TVL had an activity called "Personal Development Culminating Activity" (Mass Finger Painting).
November 26, 2024- 8AM at ISAT Gymnasium
The grade 11 students shows their emotion through painting in their subject in Personal Development. As you can see, their faces lit up by painting, showing and letting their emotion fly in their Art.
ISATian's Artwork in DTI Isabela Graffiti Advocacy Competition
This artwork is painted by: Clifford S. Caymo, Hydee Alex C. Bunodoc, Marsleo M. Sanchez and Jimboy Catembong. Coached by: Imelda Malayao.
This collaborative masterpiece (Graffiti) advocates the promotion and awareness on consumer rights. This will encourage the consumers unity in fighting the rights. It is also manifestation of consumers unity in fighting the rights that they truly deserved. In this artwork displayed two powerful compound words which are stand up and speak out to attain rights as a consumers.
PRESCRIBED SCHOOL UNIFORM
Uniform Guide for Junior High School and Senior High School (TVL, STEM, and HUMSS) Students. Grade 7 and 11 students may wear Type B uniforms while their school uniforms are being tailored. This option is only available until September 1, 2024, after which they must wear their school uniforms. Grade 8, 9, 10, and 12 students are expected to wear the school uniforms tailored during their earlier years at ISAT.
Colored or dyed hair is strictly prohibited. Black hair is highly recommended for student.

October 8, 2024, the Teacher's Day cum KUDOS ISAT Awards and Recognition Program was successfully held at the Isabela School of Arts and Trades. The teachers and non-teaching personnel, who work diligently to inspire and prepare students for their future, were honored in the special celebration dedicated to their tireless service for their success of the students at ISAT.
The event featured special awards for outstanding teachers and the school administration. After this formal program, everyone enjoyed a feast together and participated in entertaining singing and dancing contests. The entire day was filled with gratitude, joy, and recognition for the inspired teachers and the people behind the scenes who support the school.
