Since before I started my college career I always knew that I wanted to be in the healthcare field. I wanted to help and serve people especially the vulnerable population. I just was not sure where I wanted to be whether it was in the clinical or business side of healthcare. So I started in nursing, although, I liked what I was doing I felt that it was not completely for me. I then started doing research on other careers. One day I had received an email about careers in public health and administration, and this is when my interest in health management began. I attended a panel where people with the degree in Heath Services Management talked about there careers, and I felt that this is what I wanted to do, so I changed my major. As I continued my education in this field and started my internship it only proved that this is were I wanted to be.
