Zearn is an online tool used to help boost students in math. It is a non-profit tool that is free to use but can also be paid for, for more benefits. It has been proven to increase students' math scores and show math is for everyone.
Zearn is a nonprofit educational organization. Zearn was founded in 2012 by Shalinee Sharma. It was created to help improve students' math and show math is for everyone. Zearn is used by 1 in 4 elementary-school students and by more than 1 million middle-school students nationwide. In 2022 Nebraska State Assessment Results researchers showed students using Zearn NSCAS math scores improved 2.5 times as much as those not using Zearn.
Zearn is free to use. However, there are paid accounts which provide the flexibility and support to use Zearn Math across a school or district, but it is not needed to use Zearn. To get that price, you must request a quote.
You need parents' permission so they should check to make sure either they get the permission, or the district has the permission.
COPPA: "Students under 13 may not register on their own.
You may also choose to register your students on Zearn using a school authorized Google email account. By doing so, you confirm that you have obtained any necessary permissions from your school, district, and parents."
