Project Description:
Our second project this semester will involve working to improve the usability of one or more websites or form builders from the J. Murrey Atkins Library or the Graduate School. You should conduct a usability study of selected sites or form-building applications maintained by the Atkins Library or the Graduate School. The goal of your usability study is to improve the site(s) and/or applications through recommended revisions, additional or revised supporting materials (like needed tutorials or quick reference guides).
Topic: Library Wayfinding Information Kiosk
In addition to Atkins Forms, there may be another project in the Library space as well, the Library Wayfinding kiosk system is a work in progress that could be a usability report option for students who are interested in something that is a little less structured. This application is designed to be used on kiosks throughout the Library (and available for use on mobile devices) to help students find locations and discover resources, so once it is completed it will benefit a lot of students.
