Vocal Communication and Behaviour in Pinnipeds and other marine species including seabirds and humpback whales
I am interested in investigating the communication and recognition processes in marine mammal and bird species, and how their social systems influence their communication system. Most of my projects involve experimental procedures (playback experiment, presentations of visual and olfactory lures...), but also the use of acoustic tags to better describe and understand their communication at sea.
