I am Isabella B.  Almeida, I am a biologist, a Ph.D. student at the Biological Institute in São Paulo (Brazil), I achieved a scholarship in Brazil and I'm currently doing part of my Ph.D. in the USA at West Chester University of Pennsylvania. 

I am currently studying the interactions between microorganisms and their hosts, with a focus on host microbiome interactions and their potential for biological control. With the main objective of promoting One Health.
