My main research area is probability theory. More specifically, I work with interacting particle systems, with a particular focus on variants of the contact process and stochastic growth models, exploring questions about survival, spread, and the geometry of growing systems.
Every now and then I also enjoy taking small detours into random dynamical systems and thinking about topological invariants that arise in those settings.
Prior to my current position as a postdoctoral researcher at the Institut Denis Poisson, I completed my PhD at the University of Warwick (UK) under the supervision of Dr. Daniel Valesin. Before that, I obtained both my undergraduates and master’s degrees from the Universidade Federal do ABC in Brazil, which is also the country where I am from.
I am always happy to discuss new ideas and potential collaborations. Please feel free to contact me at any time.
