Isabel (Izzy) Rendell
I am a final-year PhD student at the London School of Geometry and Number Theory, under the supervision of Dr Netan Dogra at King's College London (KCL). Previously, I completed my MSci in Mathematics at University College London (UCL).
Here is a copy of my CV .
I am interested in algebraic number theory and arithmetic geometry, in particular studying rational points on modular curves and development of methods in Chabauty-Kim theory using weakly holomorphic modular forms.
Pre-print: Quadratic Chabauty for Atkin-Lehner quotients of modular curves via weakly holomorphic modular forms: Hodge Filtrations, https://arxiv.org/abs/2509.02291.
For Term 1 2025/2026 I will be based at Boston University for a research visit with Professor Jennifer Balakrishnan.
My pronouns are she/her.
