Isabel (Izzy) Rendell
From October 2026, I am a postdoctoral researcher at Max Planck Institute for Mathematics in Bonn.
Before that, I completed my PhD at the London School of Geometry and Number Theory, under the supervision of Dr Netan Dogra, based at King's College London (KCL). Previously, I completed my MSci in Mathematics at University College London (UCL).
I am interested in algebraic number theory and arithmetic geometry, in particular studying rational points on modular curves and the Chabauty-Kim method using weakly holomorphic modular forms.
Research: Quadratic Chabauty for Atkin-Lehner quotients of modular curves via weakly holomorphic modular forms: Hodge Filtrations, https://arxiv.org/abs/2509.02291 (submitted).
