Droning On
The meaningless tasks
It’s all too much
I wish I had masks
To hide the pain and such
Maybe I’m dramatic
Something I am often
It’s a little problematic
I’ll be this way til my coffin

One of the greatest feelings
That final moment of yearning
From the second I woke up that day
I blissfully prepared for my longing to end
When it finally came time for us to meet
I sat on my porch waiting eagerly
Thinking fondly of past memories and future wishes
I yearn for them more and more
They come around the corner and I jump from my seat
We see eachother and rush to an embrace
My yearning reduced
But still lingering
